The Weekend starts early this week for Hudson Valley Etsy with two very diverse events. The venerable river towns of Kingston and Newburgh, perched proudly on above the Hudson provide the settings for our members starting Friday night.

Hester, of Hester's Studio will bring her hand-built ceramics to the Kingston Night Market, a pop-up street festival that takes place every third Friday of the month from May to October. Friday June 19, from 5 - 9 PM. 


On Saturday, June 20 from 11 AM - 12 AM, Newburgh Illuminated will debut with great panache. This day long event celebrates the 150th anniversary of the city and will feature art, music, vendors, trolley tours, and much more. Two of our purveyors of all things bath and body will be there as well.

Lumberjack Soap by Hudson Naturals

Christina, of Hudson Naturals will be there so take a stroll, check out her products and perhaps pick up some all natural, avocado oil based soap for you favorite Lumberjack. 

Rosey Glow Hand and Body Cream, by Beyond the Picket Fence

With gifts in hand for Jack, don't forget about Jill! Seek out Gwen, of Beyond the Picket Fence, at the the event as well. Handmade in small batches, Gwen's body products will sooth your body and your soul.

Now it's time to plan your weekend adventure, city-hopping up and down the river and shop-hopping from one Hudson Valley Etsy shop to the next!

Where To Find The Hudson Valley Etsy Team This Weekend

We have a busy weekend ahead of us!

As you might have already seen this Saturday, May 31, is the first date of the Newburgh Urban Market. Our very own Beyond The Picket Fence will be there selling her yummy smelling and generally super awesome soaps and lotions. The market is open from 10AM-4PM and is located at 50 Liberty Street next to Washington's Headquarters in Newburgh, NY.

But don't leave just yet, as yours truly, Meerwiibli by Sarah-Maria, will be participating in a fashion show showcasing the work of Hudson Valley designers. The event will start at 8PM this Saturday, May 31, at the Hudson Valley Hotel and Conference Center on Route 17K in Newburgh, NY. Hope to see you there!

Pulp Sushi will be at Bazaar-on-Hudson in Cold Spring, NY, this Sunday, June 1, from 10:30AM-4:30PM.

There's a new market coming to town and it starts this Saturday! Members such as Beyond The Picket Fence and New Prospect Pottery will be among the vendors.

Craft Fair Season is coming! VENDORS WANTED!

Ok everyone, let's take our mind off of the snow for a minute.  Let's think about sunny warmer days ahead where we casually stroll through and shop at some of our favorite craft fairs this Spring and Summer.  Which also means it's time to get your dates in order if you're a Handmade seller.

I don't know about you all but the new markets and return of the larger fairs coming to the Hudson Valley this year has us all really excited to participate and connect with other artists!
