My name is Shannon Chomanczuk and I am the jewelry designer behind For My Sweet Daughter.
A few months ago I was stumped, out of mojo, creatively challenged. I came up with a plan to inspire myself, ignite my creativity, and step outside of my box.
I chose one of the many color palette inspirations on Design-Seeds.com and gave myself a week to create something from that palette or just gather the materials to create something in the future.
Are you ready to play along?
Great! Here is the color palette I have chosen for this week July 11th - 18th:
Design-Seeds |
Here are some items made by some of my Fellow Hudson Valley Etsy Team Members to help get you inspired:
Summer Shawl in Waves of Blue by HuzzahHandmade |
One Porcelain Blue Tea Cup by Faith Adams |
Blue and White Horizon Porcelain Pendant by LandMStudio Would you like to play along? Make an item or choose materials inspired by the palette and write a blog post about it, post the item for sale, or post the item on your website. Add the link to your blog post, shop or website in the comments next week - the 18th. The only rule is that if you use the Design-Seeds palette you must link directly to the Design-Seeds website. I can't wait to see what you make! Have an inspired Wednesday! See you next week, ~Shannon |

Thanks for the link to design seeds, had't heard of it before, and I'm bookmarking it now. Palettes like these can so be found on the Lovely Clusters blog. Will see what I can do about the challenge.
