Where To Find Makers-On-Hudson This Weekend

The Catskills Are Calling

This Sunday two of our makers are heading to White Lake N.Y. in the beautiful Catskills and to the site of the original Woodstock Festival to kick off the opening weekend of The Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods.  The Hudson River Exchange is co-sponsoring the event and will have their own "Outpost" tent featuring a juried selection of artisans, making opening day even more special. Hester, of Hester's Studio, will bring her hand-built figurative ceramics and home decor. Kathryn, of Huzzah! Unique, Handmade Wearables, brings a large selection of her luxury hand knits and felted accessories

The Harvest Festival features two artisans' craft tents, two farmers' market tents, a stage with music all day, food and many other activities. It's all free, with a nominal $2. parking fee. So many great reasons to come "back to the garden" in the beautiful Catskills, meet our Makers and enjoy celebrating opening day!

Let's Meet Down by the Riverside

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more picturesque, bucolic setting in our valley then the riverfront landing park in Garrison, N.Y. This Saturday and Sunday, you'll be able to enjoy the lovely setting and have the opportunity to shop and meet over 80 fine artists and craftspeople at the 47th Annual Garrison Fine Crafts Fair. Our members, Kathryn, of Huzzah! Unique, Handmade Wearables, and Sue, of Digilio Designs, will both be there. Sue brings a varied selection of note cards, art prints, pendants and her original art.
